What we hear

The problems that keep coming up

Four things we hear on almost every first call in this sector. If two or more sound familiar, the fix is usually structural rather than a bigger budget.

  • EverQuote, QuoteWizard and SmartFinancial sell a single consumer's details to several agencies at once. The consumer's phone rings within seconds, repeatedly, and answers whoever quotes lowest. Close rates sit in low single digits, and the risks that do bind shop again at renewal.

  • An agency may only quote carriers it holds an appointment with, and carrier brand guidelines govern how those logos and names appear. Lose the appointment and every page, ad and logo referencing it has to come down that week.

  • Texas homeowners carriers restrict new business by county, decline roofs past a certain age and step back from coastal wind entirely. A home insurance page that keeps converting while every appointed market is closed buys quotes nobody can bind.

  • Most agency sites show a quote form that emails a CSR who rekeys everything into EZLynx the next morning. Personal auto can genuinely rate in real time; a contractor's general liability cannot, and pretending otherwise loses the visitor twice.

  • Search does not. An El Paso agency visible for Medicare terms collects enquiries from New Mexico residents it cannot write, while California requires the licence number in advertising and Medicare marketing carries its own CMS disclaimer rules.

  • Commission renews annually, so a monoline auto policy that lapses in year two was never profitable. Most agencies spend everything on acquisition and nothing on rounding out accounts, even though a bundled household retains far longer than a monoline one.

Our approach

How We Fix It for Insurance Agencies

Four moves, in this order. The sequence matters more than any individual tactic.

01

We Report Bound Premium

Form fills are not revenue. We write lead source into your agency management system and report on quotes issued, policies bound and premium by line, which is what your contingency depends on.

02

Appointment and Licence Aware

Every page is built against what you are genuinely appointed and licensed to write. When a market closes or an appointment ends, the site changes that week rather than that quarter.

03

You Own Every Account

The domain, the site, the ad accounts, the tracking numbers and the CRM are issued in your agency's name from day one. If we part, the whole apparatus stays with you.

04

Sixteen Years, Published Pricing

More than three thousand businesses over sixteen years, a published starting price, thirty-day terms and no long lock-in. An agency selling twelve-month policies should not be tied into a three-year contract.

What we do for you

Everything a insurance agencies business needs, under one team

Website solutions

  • One page per line of business — personal auto, homeowners, term life, Medicare Advantage, general liability, workers' compensation — rather than a single products list
  • Quote paths that match the line: real-time rating where EZLynx or PL Rating can return a number, a short intake and a booked callback where the class genuinely needs an underwriter
  • A carrier panel built from your live appointments, logo usage held inside each carrier's brand guidelines, and one place to pull a market down the day it closes
  • Producer profiles carrying NPN, resident and non-resident licences, and the lines each person is appointed to write
  • Certificate requests, auto ID card downloads and declarations page access for existing commercial and personal clients
  • English and Spanish written twice rather than machine-translated — the border market decides on which language answered it first

Lead generation

  • Class-of-business campaigns — SR-22 filings, box truck fleets, restaurant packages, framing contractors — instead of bidding against aggregators on cheap car insurance
  • Call tracking split by line, so the value of a commercial trucking call is never averaged against a renters quote
  • X-date capture on every commercial form, so a prospect who cannot move today enters a sequence timed to their expiry
  • TrustedForm or Jornaya certificates and DNC scrubbing on all forms, because TCPA exposure follows the agency that dials
  • Landing pages gated to the states you hold a licence in, with out-of-state visitors referred rather than quoted
  • Referral paths for mortgage brokers, realtors, dealerships and CPAs — the introductions that still close best

Marketing

  • Local SEO for the agency profile and for each producer, including the duplicate Google listings carriers create for captive offices
  • Content written to the coverage question people actually type — what a hail deductible does, whether Texas requires workers' compensation, what an SR-22 filing is
  • Paid search structured by line and by intent, with Medicare and ACA campaigns kept in a separate account under the certification Google requires
  • Seasonal planning around AEP from 15 October to 7 December and ACA open enrolment, because a year of health production happens in nine weeks
  • Generative engine optimisation so answer engines name your agency, your lines and your licensed states correctly
  • Renewal-season email and direct mail to the existing book, which is the cheapest premium an agency will ever write

Social media

  • Review programmes triggered at the claim as well as at the sale — the moment a client learns what the policy was for
  • Producer-level pages that respect carrier brand rules and stay separate from the agency page
  • Community content — sponsorships, chambers, school teams — which is what a local agency's Facebook page is genuinely for
  • Health and Medicare creative written to Meta's rules, which prohibit implying knowledge of a person's condition
  • Commercial prospecting on LinkedIn organised by class of business rather than by job title alone

CRM & GoHighLevel

  • GoHighLevel pipelines mirroring the real stages — enquiry, quoted, bound, issued, rounded out — not a single won column
  • Lead source written into EZLynx, Applied Epic or AgencyZoom, so reporting reaches bound premium instead of stopping at form fills
  • Speed-to-lead routing with SMS auto-response and missed-call text-back, which decides most shared-enquiry outcomes before anyone dials
  • Round-out tasks generated from the book: monoline auto flagged for a home quote, home flagged for umbrella
  • Renewal and X-date calendars that fire on the dates policies actually turn, not on a content schedule

Automation

  • Quote follow-up sequences across SMS and email that stop on reply and stop again on bind
  • Renewal, rate-increase and non-renewal notices scheduled ahead of the effective date, so the call is yours rather than a competitor's
  • Certificate and auto ID card requests fulfilled without a CSR opening the management system
  • Medicare enquiry handling that records calls and carries the TPMO disclaimer language required in marketing materials
  • Intake flows collecting driver, VIN, prior carrier and loss history before the producer's first call

E-commerce

  • Direct-bind personal lines where the carrier supports it, with the agency of record staying yours
  • Term life submitted by drop-ticket, so the visitor completes an intake and an underwriter takes it from there
  • Premium and instalment payments collected through ePayPolicy by card or ACH without a phone call
  • Small commercial classes quoted and bound online through Bold Penguin or a carrier portal where appetite allows
  • Endorsement, filing and agency fee payments taken online rather than by cheque at the counter

Features this sector actually needs

  • Line-of-Business Landing Pages

Auto, home, life, Medicare, commercial, workers' compensation and umbrella each get their own page, their own quote path and their own tracking number, because they are different businesses.

  • Rater-Connected Quote Paths

Where EZLynx or PL Rating can return a real number, the visitor gets one. Where a class genuinely needs underwriting, a short intake books a producer instead of faking a quote.

  • Live Carrier Panel

Appointed markets displayed under each carrier's brand rules, mapped to the lines they will actually write, with one control to remove a market the day the appointment ends.

  • Licence and Territory Gating

Forms know which states you hold a licence in. A visitor outside them gets a referral path rather than a quote nobody at your agency can legally write.

  • Producer Credential Profiles

Each producer's NPN, resident and non-resident licences, appointed lines and languages spoken — the detail a cautious buyer checks before handing over a driving record.

  • X-Date Capture on Commercial

Commercial cover is bought on a renewal date. The form captures the expiry and the CRM starts a sequence that arrives before the incumbent's renewal letter does.

  • Bound Premium Reporting

Lead source is written into your management system, so reporting reads in quotes issued, policies bound and premium by line, not in form submissions nobody has priced.

  • Client Service Portal

Certificates, auto ID cards, declarations pages and payments, self-served from the site. A commercial client needs a COI at seven in the morning and will not wait.

  • Medicare-Compliant Enquiry Flow

TPMO disclaimer, recorded calls and retained consent on every Medicare page, so the agency's marketing survives a carrier or CMS audit rather than being rebuilt during AEP.

The systems this sector already runs on. We wire the site into them rather than asking you to change how the business works.

Insurance Agencies questions

Any question in your mind?

The questions we get asked most, answered without the sales gloss. If yours is not here, ask us directly — you will get a straight answer either way.

Still have questions?

Book 30 minutes with a strategist. No deck, no pitch — just answers about your situation.

Book a call

Occasionally, and never as the foundation. A shared enquiry is sold to several agencies at once, so you are the fourth or fifth call and the conversation starts at price. Someone buying purely on price shops again at renewal, and a book of price shoppers carries a loss ratio that can cost you a carrier contingency worth more than the commission ever was. If you do buy, buy exclusive or in-market, dial in seconds rather than hours, and measure by premium bound rather than by cost per enquiry.
